Great read about an interesting era in London and the personal accounts of a central figure ….. Don Letts. From smoke sessions with Bob Marley, DJing early punk scene and the Roxy to bringing Joe Strummer to south London dancehall parties to shooting early Clash videos needless to say he had interesting life.

I’ve heard many say that hip-hop needs to mature. Dame Dash has been quietly cooking up this blues rock rap mash – up tiled BlacRoc. A compilation album featuring the musical production of The Black Keys and a slew of top notch guest MC’s. I was so impressed that i’m currently going through the whole BK’s discography. Its not to say hip hop hasn’t had a sound like this but there is so much room for more and this is well done. Album out now!
